Up to four anglers on our standard fishing trips. We can sometimes accommodate more if some of the group are small children — give us a call and we’ll figure it out.
No. Your Virginia saltwater fishing license is included for the duration of the charter.
Yes — that’s actually one of our favorite parts of the job. We’ll handle setup, casting, hookset, and fighting fish. You don’t need experience.
Absolutely. Younger kids tend to do best on the Bluefish & Spanish Mackerel trip or the Lynnhaven Inlet trip — shorter, faster action, less waiting.
Yes. Our mate will clean and bag your catch at the end of the trip. Tips are appreciated, 15–20% is standard.
No. Everything you need is on the boat. If you have a favorite rod or reel you want to bring, just let us know.
Within Virginia state regulations, yes. Some species have size or season restrictions — we’ll let you know what’s keepable before you take it home.
Most of our trips are in the protected waters of the Chesapeake Bay and Lynnhaven River, so seasickness is rare. If you’re prone to it, take Bonine or Dramamine the night before and the morning of the trip.
Most charters launch between 7:00 and 8:00 AM. We’ll confirm the exact time when you book.
